Kelly French - General Manager for Edge Catering Company and The Mobile Bistro
She began her career in the hospitality industry twenty years ago as a coach attendant for the Grand Canyon Railway serving souvenir Coke bottles to thirsty passengers from all over the globe. She knew immediately that she liked working with the public and thus began a career that would teach her the ins and outs of food and beverage and about life. Kelly worked every type of food service job on her way to her current position. Prior to being named General Manager of Edge Catering, she ran our sister property, Tohono Chul Garden Bistro. Kelly hosts upwards of 300 successful catering events every year and has definitely found her calling. She currently lives in Tucson with her husband Tony, their dog Cooper, cat Josephine and desert tortoise Speedy. She can be contacted at email@example.com
Patrick Fahey & Jason Hartenbach - Proprietors of Edge Catering
Business owners Patrick Fahey and Jason Hartenbach are successful Tucson businessmen with over 45 years of combined experience in the operation of restaurants and catering across Southern Arizona. Patrick and Jason met years ago while participating in Executive Chef training at the Sheraton El Conquistador. Jason went on to open a very successful catering company, River's Edge, while Patrick stayed in the restaurant business before branching out to run all food operations at two of Southern Arizona's busiest tourist locations. At the end of 2010 Patrick and Jason came together to become the concessionaire at the Pima Air and Space Museum (Flight Grill). The Museum had gone through a major addition, in which they built a 250 seat restaurant as well as a new event space to accommodate up to 1000 people. Edge Catering is the preferred caterer at several of Tucson's most well-known wedding locations where they cater over 300 weddings per year as well as many corporate and private off-site functions. Their philosophy of providing excellent affordable food always ahead of time provides the perfect solution for Tucson's corporate population. They are excited to expand this arm of the business and look forward to helping your group with their next function. The pair also operate the Tohono Chul Garden Bistro and the Mobile Bistro Gourmet Food Truck.
Michael Montesano - Executive Chef
Born and raised in Tucson, he began his culinary career in high school. However, his lifelong passion for the art of food began the moment he could toss a sauté pan. Trained in Classic French and Italian cuisine, Michael has been transforming classical recipes and dishes with modern techniques and equipment in many high end kitchens across Tucson. From the tapas of VINTabla, the New American Classics of Dove Mountain Grill, and the Southwest landmark of Tohono Chul Garden Bistro, Chef Michael has helped develop the variety that is Tucson cuisine. The creator of the traditionally innovative SPUN! Gelato has now teamed up with Tucson's leader in creative quality and service, Edge Catering, as Executive Chef.
